Lace up your shoes and get moving! In large cities like San Francisco it can be hard to connect to others. Lace up is an organization that facilitates connection through action. From playing games, to attending outings and dinner parties. Lace up wants to move you toward connection.
This branding project consist of creating an organization, business, or non-profit with an associated event. I designed a Logo Style Guide along with Brand Assets: webpage, merch, and event poster.
Design decisions and name of the organization is built on the theme of movement.

BRANDING
OBJECTIVE: Create an organization, business, or non-profit with an associated event.

RESEARCH
First, I had to decide on what kind of organization, business, or non-profit I wanted to base this project on. For me, the best ideas usually come from my own personal experiences.
When I moved to the city I learned very quickly how hard it is to make friends. Other than the people you work with, there is not a singular place or event where you can connect to others (bars don't count).
I remember receiving ad for SF Social, an active focused social group where you can meet new people. They focused on a variety of sports. They later changed their name to Volo.
Tribe is another social group that is similar to Volvo, but their focus is on intimate gatherings curated for their members.
